Important Updates

"My mom lives on Chokeberry Sq. We really like the new parking pilot program. Previously cars parked very close to her driveway and she had hard time going in and out of her house. Often time cars parked there for days. Now with the pilot program the parking areas are clearly marked leaving enough space for her to get in and out of her driveway. Also people don’t leave their cars there for days anymore. . I feel like previously the area next to my mom’s house had become a long term parking for residents from other streets. But this is no longer the case. We are very happy with the pilot program and hang tags."

Bring your pets in their favorite Halloween costume for a mini photoshoot at the HOA building! Pictures will be taken on Friday, October 17th and emailed by Tuesday, October 21st by 5 PM!

Pets must be leashed at all times. All photos taken are subject to being shared on the HOA website, newsletter, and email blasts

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

A friendly reminder that littering cigarette butts, glass bottles, alcohol bottles, etc. is illegal. Please do your part in keeping Ashburn Farm clean! Thank you!

Littering

Ashburn Farm Association will be conducting asphalt trail maintenance starting Monday, October 20th. The Association asks that residents use additional caution while enjoying the trails next week. There will be heavy equipment transporting materials and moving from work location to work location to perform maintenance.

This work is dependent on dry weather conditions. Should a delay occur, the Association will announce a make-up date.

We encourage you to explore Ashburn Farm in this detail because we know that you will love what you find, the parks, the people, the amenities, the setting. Ashburn Farm blends Virginia’s picturesque beauty with stunning homes and ample community amenities in Loudoun County. The majority of the land on which Ashburn Farm is located was sold to, or inherited by, John Janney, a Delegate for Loudoun County until his death in the late 1800’s. Mr. Janney called the area Ashburn Farm because of close family friends with the same name. The land was eventually sold to Senator William Stewa, later being further divided, and sold. The last owner was the Gray Family, who operated a dairy farm on the land. A windmill was salvaged and restored from the Gray estate and now stands with a large “Ohio Buckeye” tree near the Windmill Community Center.
